Doing Business in Japan

Even if you have already exported a product or service to another country, in Europe or America, all the information you have gathered about market behavior, business practices, habits, etc., all of which can be inadequate for the Japanese market.

The existing business potential in the Japanese market for Israeli companies, is enormous. However, the encounter with the Japanese market is fundamentally different from any encounter with western markets. The cultural differences are big, the business etiquette and cultural codes are different, that someone who is not familiar with the Japanese culture, might not pass the entrance threshold and fall into numerous "cultural traps" scattered along the business process.
