Proven Experience in Israel–Japan Collaboration

Since the establishment of I.J. Business Do Ltd. in 2012, we have been supporting Israeli companies in entering the Japanese market, establishing local operations, developing strategic partnerships, and advancing business initiatives with leading Japanese corporations.

The examples below represent selected projects in which we were directly involved during critical stages of the business development process.

Nayax – Establishment of a Japanese Subsidiary and Payment Solution Localization

Support for the establishment of Nayax’s Japanese subsidiary, Nayax K.K., and the launch of local business operations in Japan, including the creation of operational infrastructure and adaptation to regulatory and industry requirements.

The activity included engagement with local acquirers and financial institutions, as well as support for development and localization of Nayax’s payment reader, in particular the VPOS Touch product, combining hardware and software to comply with Japan’s stringent regulatory and certification requirements.

The project also included Nayax’s admission to the JVMA (Japan Vending Machine Manufacturers Association), and adaptation of the product to the association’s communication protocol, which serves as an industry standard for communication between payment devices and vending machines in Japan.

In addition, professional coordination was conducted between the development teams in Israel and Japan, including requirements alignment, technical clarification, and ongoing support, enabling accurate and efficient implementation of the required market adaptations.

The engagement involved continuous collaboration with relevant Japanese stakeholders and supported a compliant commercial launch and sustained local operations.

Dronomy – Investment and POC with Mitsui Fudosan

Initiation and leadership of the initial process that resulted in an investment by 31VENTURES Global Innovation Fund in Dronomy, an Israeli startup specializing in drone-based construction solutions.

The activity included identifying and engaging the relevant Japanese stakeholders, presenting the technology, and supporting the initial evaluation stages. As a direct outcome of this initiative, the engagement progressed to a Proof of Concept (POC) conducted with Mitsui Fudosan, which also participated in the investment.
