This device is intended to evaluate the performance of sand production countermeasure filters considered for application in methane hydrate research and development. It can reproduce pressure differences and water flow rates assumed in the field, enabling long-term performance evaluation through continuous operation exceeding one week. It consists of a pressure vessel for filters, pressure-resistant hoses, pumps, and a hopper with a stirrer.

2. Qualifications required for participants in the competitive bidding
(1) Must not fall under the provisions of Articles 7 and 8 of the contract handling rules of the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology.
(2) Must be rated A, B, or C for "manufacture of goods" or "sale of goods" according to the qualification screening rules related to contracts of the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology. Those with equivalent qualifications under the unified qualification system of all ministries are deemed to have the same rating.
(3) Small and medium-sized enterprises with technical capabilities that fall under any of the items 1 to 7 of Article 17, Paragraph 1 of the qualification screening rules may participate regardless of the rating mentioned above.
