1. Procurement details:
(1) Item classification numbers 22, 31.
(2) Subject and quantity: Two laparoscopic camera systems.

4. Other:
(1) Language and currency for contract procedures: Japanese and Japanese yen.
(2) Bid and contract guarantees are exempted.
(3) Requirements for bidders: Those wishing to participate must submit a sealed bid with documents proving ability to fulfill the subject by the deadline. Bidders must respond to explanations requested by the responsible officer before the bid opening date.
(4) Invalid bids: Bids from ineligible participants or those who fail to fulfill obligations will be invalid.

5. Qualification requirements:
(1) Must not fall under Article 5 of the National Hospital Organization contract regulations.
(2) Must not fall under Article 6 of the same regulations.
(3) Must have Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare unified qualification for manufacturing or sales of goods at levels A-D with competition eligibility in the Chugoku region.
(4) Must prove registration for medical device sales under the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Act.
(5) Must prove a system for prompt after-sales service and maintenance.
(6) Must have qualifications designated by the responsible officer under Article 4 of the contract regulations.

6. Method of deciding successful bidder: The bidder with a valid bid within the price limit will be selected based on Article 21 of the contract regulations. However, if the selected bidder is deemed unable to properly perform or if contracting would disrupt fair trade, the next lowest valid bidder may be selected within the price limit.
