Tender Notice:
The following general competitive tender is announced. Date: June 1, 2026. Kyoto Institute of Technology, Director NAGAYOSHI Masahiro. Procurement agency number 415, location number 26.
1. Procurement content:
(1) Item classification number 15
(2) Procurement subject and quantity: Large-capacity, high-availability information infrastructure network system
(3) Characteristics of procurement subject: According to the tender specifications.
(4) Delivery deadline: March 31, 2027.
(5) Delivery location: Kyoto Institute of Technology.
(6) Tender method: The successful bidder will be determined by comprehensive evaluation method; bidders must submit documents related to performance, functions, and technology (hereafter “documents for comprehensive evaluation”). The winning price will be the bid amount plus 10% of that amount (fractions less than 1 yen will be truncated). Bidders must write in the bid the amount equivalent to 100/110 of the estimated contract amount regardless of tax status.
2. Eligibility for participation:
(1) Must not fall under Article 3 or 4 of Kyoto Institute of Technology Contract Regulations. Minors or persons under guardianship with necessary consent may be exceptions.
(2) Must be rated A, B, or C for “sale of goods” in the Kinki region in the national or Kyoto Institute of Technology participation qualifications for FY2026.
(3) Must prove a system for prompt after-sales service and maintenance for the purchased goods.
(4) Must not be under transaction suspension by the Director of Kyoto Institute of Technology.
3. Submission location etc.:

(4) Bid receipt deadline: July 13, 2026, 5:00 PM.
(5) Bid opening: July 31, 2026, 3:00 PM, Kyoto Institute of Technology Building 3, Meeting Room 2.
4. Others:
(1) Language and currency for contract: Japanese and Japanese yen.
(2) Bid and contract guarantees are exempted.
(3) Bidders must submit sealed bids with documents for comprehensive evaluation and proof that the goods offered are equivalent to those specified, including samples if applicable, by the bid receipt deadline. Bidders must respond to explanations requested by the Director before bid opening.
(4) Invalid bids include those from ineligible bidders or those who fail to fulfill obligations.
(5) Contract document preparation is required.
(6) Successful bidder will be selected from those judged capable of delivering the specified or equivalent goods, meeting all mandatory performance requirements, and within the price limit set by the Director based on the comprehensive evaluation method defined in the tender specifications.
