(6) Bidding Method:
The successful bid price will be determined by adding 10% of the bid amount entered into the reverse auction system to that amount (fractions less than 1 yen will be truncated). Bidders must enter 100/110 of the estimated contract amount into the system regardless of their tax status.

2. Eligibility for Participation
(1) Must not fall under the provisions of Articles 2 and 3 of The University of Tokyo's Contract Handling Regulations.
(2) Must be rated A, B, or C in the "Manufacture or Sale of Goods" category for the Kanto-Koshinetsu region in the 2026 fiscal year national unified qualification.
(3) Must prove research system and rapid after-sales service and maintenance system for manufactured goods.
(4) Must meet requirements specified in the bidding documents.
(5) Must not be under transaction suspension by the President.

4. Other
(1) Language and currency for contract procedures: Japanese and Japanese yen.
(2) Bid and contract guarantee deposits: exempted.
(3) Required documents proving ability to supply the goods must be submitted by the document receipt deadline.
(4) Invalid bids include those from ineligible bidders or those failing obligations.
(5) Contract document preparation required.
(6) Successful bidder is the lowest valid bidder within the price limit judged capable by the President.
(7) No negotiation in procedures.
