The following is subject to open competitive bidding. Date: June 22, 2026. Kyushu University President: Tatsuro Ishibashi. Procurement agency number: 415. Location number: 40. Item No. 6.
1 Procurement details:
(1) Item classification numbers 22, 31.
(2) Procurement subject and quantity: Complete surgical instrument transport system.
(3) Characteristics of the procurement subject: As described in the bidding instructions.
(4) Delivery deadline: March 31, 2027.
(5) Delivery location: Kyushu University Hospital.
(6) Bidding method: The successful bidder will be determined by a comprehensive evaluation method; therefore, documents related to performance, function, and technology (hereinafter referred to as "documents for comprehensive evaluation") must be submitted. The winning bid price will be the bid amount plus 10% of that amount (fractions less than 1 yen will be rounded down). Bidders must state in the bid the amount corresponding to 100/110 of the estimated contract amount, regardless of whether they are taxable or tax-exempt entities for consumption tax and local consumption tax.
2 Eligibility for participation:
(1) Must not fall under Articles 5 and 6 of Kyushu University Contract Handling Regulations. Minors or persons under guardianship who have obtained necessary consent for contract conclusion may be exceptions.
(2) Must be rated A, B, or C for "sale of goods" in the Kyushu-Okinawa region for fiscal year 2026 under the national or Kyushu University competitive participation qualifications. Applications for these qualifications are accepted at designated government procurement offices or at Kyushu University Finance Department Procurement Division Planning Section.
(3) Must prove a system for rapid after-sales service and maintenance for the purchased goods.
(4) Must prove ability to deliver the goods at the date and place designated by the President.
(5) Must prove possession of a medical device sales license under the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Act.
(6) Must have qualifications prescribed by the President under Article 4 of Kyushu University Contract Handling Regulations.
(7) Must not be under transaction suspension by the President.
