The following is announced for open competitive bidding. Date of expenditure commitment: June 24, 2026. Official in charge of expenditure commitment: Kiyoyuki SUGAHARA, Director of the Financial Affairs Division, Minister's Secretariat, Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Procurement agency number: 014. Location number: 13. No. 97.
1 Procurement details:
(1) Item classification numbers 71, 27.
(2) Procurement subject and quantity: Lease of security software related to the renewal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs information network and LAN system.
(3) Specifications: According to the tender explanatory documents.
(4) Performance period: From September 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027.
(5) Performance location: The place will be designated by the official in charge of expenditure commitment.
(6) Bidding method: The total price for the entire work described in
(2) above will be used. The winning bid price will be the amount stated in the bid plus an additional 10% of that amount (fractions less than one yen will be rounded down). Bidders must state in the bid the amount corresponding to 100/110 of the estimated contract amount regardless of whether they are taxable or tax-exempt businesses for consumption tax and local consumption tax.
(7) This procurement will be conducted using the "Electronic Procurement System" for bidding and bid opening procedures. However, if it is difficult to use the "Electronic Procurement System," bidding and document submission will be done on paper. Details are as stated in the tender explanatory documents.
