The following is subject to open competitive bidding. Date: July 1, 2026. Shimane University President Otani Hiroshi. Procurement agency number 415. Location number 32. Item 2: Procurement details
(1) Item classification numbers 22, 31
(2) Procurement subject and quantity: Complete operating table set
(3) Characteristics of procurement subject: As per tender documents.
(4) Delivery deadline: March 26, 2027
(5) Delivery location: Shimane University Faculty of Medicine Hospital
(6) Bidding method: The winning bid price will be the amount stated in the bid plus 10% of that amount (fractions less than 1 yen will be truncated). Bidders must state in the bid form the amount corresponding to 100/110 of the estimated contract amount regardless of tax status.
2 Eligibility for participation
(1) Must not fall under Articles 3 and 4 of Shimane University contract handling regulations.
(2) Must be rated A, B, or C in the Ministrywide Unified Qualification System for fiscal 2026 in the category of 'sale of goods' for the Chugoku region.
(3) Must prove a system for prompt after-sales service and maintenance for the purchased goods.
(4) Must prove ability to deliver the goods at the date and place designated by the university president.
(5) Must prove possession of a medical device sales license under the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Act.
(6) Must not be part of antisocial forces as defined by Shimane University regulations.
(7) Must have qualifications designated by the university president under contract handling regulations.
(8) Must not be under transaction suspension by the university president.
4 Other
(1) Language and currency for contract procedures: Japanese and Japanese yen.
(2) Bid and contract guarantee exempted.
(3) Bidders wishing to participate must submit sealed bids with documents proving ability to deliver the goods by the bid receipt deadline. Bidders must respond to explanations requested by the university president before bid opening.
(4) Invalid bids include those from ineligible bidders or those failing obligations.
(5) Contract document required.
(6) Winner determined by lowest valid bid within price limits judged able to deliver by the university president.
(7) No negotiation in procedures.
(8) Details per tender documents. If environmental conditions are specified in tender documents, bidders should understand them fully before bidding.
