The following general competitive tender is announced. Date: July 6, 2026. Procuring entity: National Institutes for the Humanities, Director NAGAKI Nobuko. Procurement agency number: 416. Location number:

26. Procurement details:
(1) Item classification numbers 15, 27.
(2) Subject and quantity: Expansion of academic data collection and publication infrastructure system.
(3) Characteristics of the procurement subject: as described in the bidding documents.
(4) Contract period: From April 1, 2027 (Thursday) to March 31, 2032 (Wednesday).
(5) Location of contract fulfillment: Institute for Research in Humanities and the Global Environment, National Institutes for the Humanities.
(6) Bidding method: Bidders shall state the unit price per month. The winning bid price will be the bid amount plus 10% of that amount (fractions less than 1 yen will be truncated). Bidders must state in the bid form the amount corresponding to 100/110 of the estimated contract amount regardless of tax status.
(7) Eligibility: Bidders must not fall under disqualifications per Articles 5 and 6 of the National Institutes for the Humanities Contract Handling Regulations. Minors or persons under guardianship with necessary consent may be exceptions.
(8) Bidders must be rated A, B, or C in the 2026 national competitive qualification for the Kinki region for 'sale of goods'.
(9) If lending to third parties, bidders must prove ability to lend and maintain the goods.
(10) Bidders must have qualifications designated by the Director of the National Institutes for the Humanities per Article 7 of the Contract Handling Regulations.
(11) Bidders under suspension by the Director are disqualified.
