(2) Procurement subject and quantity: Complete set of ultrasound imaging diagnostic equipment for prostate cancer.

Must demonstrate a system for prompt after-sales service and maintenance for the purchased goods. Must prove possession of a medical device sales license under the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Act. Must not be under suspension of transactions by the university president. Submission location for bid forms, contract terms, bid document distribution, and inquiries: Okayama University Medical Affairs Department, Procurement Group, 2-5-1 Shikata-cho, Kita-ku, Okayama City, 700-8558. Bid opening: October 14, 2026, 11:00 AM, same location as briefing. Language and currency for contract procedures: Japanese and Japanese yen. Bid and contract guarantees are exempted. Bidders must submit sealed bid forms with documents proving ability to deliver the goods by the submission deadline. Bidders must respond to explanations requested by the university president before the bid opening date. Invalid bids include those from ineligible bidders or those failing to fulfill obligations as per bidding documents. Contract document required. The successful bidder will be the lowest valid bidder judged capable of delivering the goods within the estimated price limit as per regulations. No negotiation in procedures.
