The following is an open competitive tender. Date: July 10, 2026. Procuring entity: Norihiro Kokudo, Chief Director, Japan Institute for Health Security. Procurement details:
(1) Classification code: 4.
(2) Subject and quantity: Medical reagents set.
(3) Characteristics: According to the tender documents and specifications.
(4) Delivery and contract period: From October 1, 2026 to September 30, 2027.
(5) Delivery locations: National Center for Global Health and Medicine, and National Kohnodai Medical Center under the Japan Institute for Health Security.
(6) Tender method: The bid price shall include all costs related to the purchase and delivery. The evaluation will be based on the bid amount plus 10% of that amount (fractions less than 1 yen will be truncated). Bidders must state in the bid form an amount equivalent to 100/110 of the estimated contract amount regardless of tax status. Qualification for participation:
(1) Must not fall under Article 6 of the Contract Handling Regulations of the Japan Institute for Health Security.
(2) Must not fall under Article 7 of the same regulations.
(3) Must have Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare unified qualification grade A, B, or C for sales of goods in the Kanto-Koshinetsu region.
(4) Must provide proof of license for sales of medical devices under the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Act.
(5) Must be able to deliver the purchased goods to the designated place and time.
(6) Must have qualifications designated by the Chief Director according to Article 5 of the Contract Handling Regulations. Bidders must submit sealed bids with documents proving ability to deliver the goods by the deadline. Bids not meeting qualification or obligations will be invalid.
