Tender Notice:
The University of Tokyo President Teruo FUJII announces a general competitive tender as follows. Procurement Agency Number: 415. Location Number: 13. No. 22.
1 Procurement Details:
(1) Item Classification Numbers 22, 31.
(2) Procurement Subject and Quantity: Complete digital X-ray fluoroscopy system.
(3) Characteristics of the procurement subject: As per the bidding instructions.
(4) Delivery Deadline: March 12, 2027.
(5) Delivery Location: The University of Tokyo Faculty of Medicine Hospital.
(6) Bidding Method: The winning bid price will be determined by adding 10% of the amount entered into the reverse auction system to that amount (fractions less than 1 yen will be truncated). Bidders must enter 100/110 of the estimated contract amount into the system regardless of tax status. Eligibility: Must not fall under Articles 2 and 3 of the University of Tokyo's contract handling regulations. Must be rated A, B, or C in the 2026 fiscal year Kanto-Koshinetsu region for manufacturing or sales of goods under the national unified qualification. Must prove a research system for manufactured goods and a system for prompt after-sales service and maintenance. Must meet the requirements specified in the bidding instructions. Must not be under transaction suspension by the President. Must prove authorization for medical device sales under the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Act. Submission location for bid documents (excluding bid forms), contract terms, bidding instructions, and inquiries: University of Tokyo Headquarters Contract Section (2nd floor, Headquarters Building), 7-3-1 Hongo, Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo 113-8654, TEL 03-5841-2148. Bidding instructions will be distributed electronically from the date of this notice via the University of Tokyo website. Document receipt deadline: August 24, 2026, 17:00. Bid opening: September 14, 2026, 14:00, electronic bidding (reverse auction). Language and currency: Japanese and Japanese yen. No bid or contract guarantee required. Bidders wishing to participate must submit documents proving ability to deliver the goods by the document receipt deadline. Bidders must respond to explanations requested by the President before the bidding day. Invalid bids include those from ineligible bidders or those failing obligations. Contract document required. The successful bidder will be the one judged able to deliver the goods and offering the lowest valid bid within the price limit set by the University of Tokyo regulations. No negotiation in the procedure. Further details in the bidding instructions. If environmental conditions are specified in the bidding instructions, bidders should understand them fully before bidding.
