(6) Bidding method: The successful bidder will be determined by comprehensive evaluation bidding method; bidders must submit documents related to performance, functionality, and technology (hereinafter referred to as "documents for comprehensive evaluation"). The winning price will be the bid price plus 10% of that price (fractions less than 1 yen will be truncated). Bidders must state in the bid form the amount equivalent to 100/110 of the estimated contract amount regardless of whether they are taxable or tax-exempt businesses for consumption tax and local consumption tax. Eligibility: Bidders must not fall under the disqualification provisions of Articles 4 and 5 of the Shiga University of Medical Science Contract Handling Regulations. Minors or persons under guardianship who have obtained necessary consent for contract conclusion may be eligible under special reasons. Bidders must be rated A, B, or C in the "sale of goods" category for the Kinki region in the national unified qualification for fiscal 2026. Bidders must prove they have a system for prompt after-sales service and maintenance for the purchased goods. Bidders must not be under suspension of transactions by the Director of Shiga University of Medical Science.
