Tender notice:
The following general competitive tender is announced. Date: July 13, 2026. Procuring entity: National Institutes for Natural Sciences, Nagakawa Masaki. Procurement content:
(1) Item classification numbers 22, 31.
(2) Subject and quantity: Complete MRI high-resolution image analysis system.
(3) Characteristics of the procurement subject: As described in the tender documents.
(4) Delivery deadline: March 31, 2027.
(5) Delivery location: Institute of Physiology, National Institutes for Natural Sciences.
(6) Tender method: The successful bidder will be determined by comprehensive evaluation method, requiring submission of documents related to performance, functions, and technology (hereafter “documents for comprehensive evaluation”). The bid price will be the amount stated in the bid plus 10% of that amount; bidders must state 100/110 of the estimated contract amount in the bid form regardless of tax status.
(7) Eligibility: Must not fall under disqualifications per Article 3 of the contract implementation rules of the National Institutes for Natural Sciences. Must have rapid after-sales service and maintenance system for the purchased goods. Must have medical device sales permission under the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Act. Must be able to deliver the goods at the specified date and place designated by the Director. Must meet qualifications set by the Director under Article 4 of the contract rules. Must not be under suspension of transactions by the Director.

(11) Bid opening: September 24, 2026, 14:00 at National Institutes for Natural Sciences (Okazaki) staff hall 2F meeting room 4-5.
(12) Language and currency: Japanese and Japanese yen.
(13) No bid or contract guarantee required.
(14) Bidders must submit sealed bids with documents proving ability to deliver the specified or equivalent goods, including samples if applicable, by the deadline. Bidders must respond to any requests for explanation before bid opening.
(15) Invalid bids include those from unqualified participants or those failing obligations.
(16) Contract document required.
(17) Successful bidder determined by comprehensive evaluation of performance, function, and technology meeting minimum requirements within price limits set by the Director.
(18) No negotiation in procedure.
