Tender Notice:
The following items are subject to open competitive bidding. Date: July 21, 2026. Kyushu University President Tatsuro ISHIBASHI. Procurement agency number 415. Location number 40. No. 9.
1 Procurement details:
(1) Item classification numbers 22, 31.
(2) Purchase subject and quantity: A Radiological Imaging Diagnostic System Set, B Vital Information Monitoring System Set, C Comprehensive Surgical System Set.
(3) Characteristics of the procurement subject are as described in the bidding documents.
(4) Delivery deadline: March 31, 2027.
(5) Delivery location: Kyushu University Hospital.
(6) Bidding method: Each subject in
(2) will be bid separately. The successful bidder will be determined by a comprehensive evaluation method, requiring submission of documents related to performance, functions, and technology (hereafter "documents for comprehensive evaluation"). The winning bid price will be the bid amount plus 10% of that amount (fractions less than 1 yen will be truncated). Bidders must state in the bid form the amount equivalent to 100/110 of the estimated contract amount regardless of tax status.
2 Eligibility for participation:
(1) Must not fall under Article 5 or 6 of Kyushu University Contract Handling Regulations. Minors or persons under guardianship with necessary consent may be exceptions.
(2) Bidders must be rated A, B, or C in "sales of goods" for the Kyushu-Okinawa region in 2026 under national or Kyushu University qualification systems. Applications for qualification are accepted at designated government procurement offices or Kyushu University Finance Department Procurement Section.
(3) Must prove a system for rapid after-sales service and maintenance.
(4) Must prove registration as a medical device seller under the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Act.
(5) Must prove ability to deliver the goods at the specified time and place designated by the president.
(6) Must have qualifications as prescribed by Article 4 of the Kyushu University Contract Handling Regulations.
(7) Must not be under transaction suspension by the president. Submission location, contract terms, and inquiry contacts are specified separately for each subject A, B, and C with contact details provided. Bidding documents are distributed electronically from the date of this notice; requests should be sent to the provided email addresses. Bid submission deadline: August 31, 2026, 17:00. Bid opening dates and locations are specified for each subject on September 30, 2026, at Kyushu University Ito Campus. Language and currency for the contract are Japanese and Japanese yen. Bid and contract guarantees are exempted. Bidders must submit sealed bids with documents proving ability to deliver the goods by the deadline. The president may request explanations regarding submitted documents before bid opening. Invalid bids include those from ineligible bidders or those failing obligations. Contract documents are required. The successful bidder will be selected among those meeting minimum required performance and technical criteria within the price limit set by the president, using the comprehensive evaluation method specified in the bidding documents. No negotiation in the procedure. Other details are in the bidding documents. If environmental conditions related to procurement are specified, bidders should fully understand before applying.
