The following general competitive tender is announced. Date: July 23, 2026. Responsible officer for disbursement: Wataru SUDA, Counsellor (Accounting), Minister's Secretariat Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. Procurement agency number: 018. Location number: 13.
1 Procurement details:
(1) Classification codes 71, 27.
(2) Subject and quantity: Data registration works for statistical information database (unit price) one set (electronic bidding and electronic contracting applicable).
(3) Specifications: According to the tender documents.
(4) Contract period: From contract signing date until March 31, 2027.
(5) Fulfillment location: According to tender documents and specifications.
(6) Bidding method: The successful bidder will be decided based on the estimated total price calculated by multiplying the planned quantity in the specifications by the unit price. The winning bid is determined by adding 10% of that amount (fractions less than one yen are rounded down). Bidders must enter in the bid form an amount equivalent to 100/110 of the estimated contract amount regardless of tax status.
2 Eligibility for participation:
(1) Must not fall under Article 70 of the Budget, Auditing and Accounting Act. Minors or persons under guardianship with necessary consent may be exceptions.
(2) Must not fall under Article 71 of the Budget, Auditing and Accounting Act.
(3) Must have grade A, B, C, or D in the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries competitive participation qualification for fiscal years 2025-2027 for 'Provision of services'.
(4) Must have qualifications designated by the responsible officer based on Article 73 of the Budget, Auditing and Accounting Act.
(5) Must not be under suspension based on the Ministry's suspension measures for manufacturing, purchasing, or service contracts.
(6) Other qualifications per tender documents. Electronic procurement system (GEPS) is used; paper bids allowed under certain conditions. Submission method and place:
(1) Electronic submission via GEPS; paper bids allowed if system failure occurs.
