Tender Notice:
The following is subject to open competitive bidding. Date: July 27, 2026. Procuring Entity: National University Corporation Yamanashi University, President Nakamura Kazuhiko. Procurement agency number 415, location number 19.
1. Procurement details:
(1) Item classification numbers 22, 31.
(2) Subject and quantity: Complete radiation therapy planning system.
(3) Characteristics of the procurement subject: According to the bidding instructions.
(4) Delivery deadline: December 31, 2026.
(5) Delivery location: Yamanashi University Faculty of Medicine Hospital.
(6) Bidding method: The winning bid price will be the bid amount plus 10% of that amount (fractions less than one yen will be truncated). Bidders must state in the bid form an amount equivalent to 100/110 of the estimated contract amount regardless of tax status.
2. Eligibility for participation:
(1) Must not fall under the provisions of Articles 2 and 3 of Yamanashi University's contract regulations. Minors or persons under guardianship with necessary consent may be exceptions.
(2) Must be rated A, B, or C in the 2026 fiscal year Kanto-Koshinetsu region unified qualification for 'sale of goods'. Applications accepted at designated offices.
(3) Must prove a system for rapid after-sales service and maintenance for the procured goods.
(4) Must prove ability to deliver the goods at the specified time and place designated by the university president.
(5) Must prove possession of a medical device sales license under the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Act.
(6) Must have qualifications as determined by the university president under Article 4 of the contract regulations.
(7) Must not be under transaction suspension by the university president. Bid submission deadline: September 16, 2026, 15:00. Bid opening: September 30, 2026, 14:00, same location as briefing. Language and currency: Japanese and Japanese yen. Bid and contract guarantees are exempted. Bidders must submit sealed bids with documents proving ability to deliver the goods by the deadline. Bidders must respond to explanations requested by the university president before bid opening. Invalid bids include those from ineligible bidders or those failing obligations. Contract document required. Award method: The lowest valid bid within the price limit set by the university president will be awarded. No negotiation in the procedure.
