Tender Notice:
The National Cancer Center, under the direction of Mano Hiroyuki, hereby announces a general competitive tender as follows. Procurement details:
(1) Item classification number 14;
(2) Procurement subject and quantity: Reannouncement for deployment of ransomware protection software on endpoints (5-year license);
(3) Characteristics of the procurement subject are as per the tender documents and specifications;
(4) Contract period: From October 1, 2026 to September 30, 2031;
(5) Place of performance: National Cancer Center;
(6) Tender method: The successful bidder will be determined by the lowest price bid method. Bidders must submit a bid including direct costs related to the procurement subject, as well as all expenses related to outsourcing work such as equipment, materials, machinery, transportation, etc. The bid amount will be adjusted by adding 10% of the bid amount (fractions less than one yen will be truncated) to determine the application amount. Bidders must submit a bid amount equivalent to 100/110 of the estimated contract amount regardless of tax status. Qualification requirements: Those disqualified under Articles 6 and 7 of the National Cancer Center Contract Handling Rules cannot participate. Bidders must have a rating of A, B, C, or D in the 'service provision' category and have competition qualifications in the Kanto-Koshinetsu region. Proof of a rapid after-sales service and maintenance system for the purchased goods is required. Contract terms, tender document distribution, and bid submission locations are at the National Cancer Center Finance and Accounting Department (Tsukiji C), Procurement Section, Tokyo. Tender document distribution period: July 28, 2026 to August 10, 2026, 8:30 to 17:00. Bid submission deadline: August 10, 2026, 17:00 (must arrive by then). Bid opening: August 12, 2026, 13:30 at the National Cancer Center Central Hospital Management Building 1F, Meeting Room 4. Language and currency for contract procedures: Japanese and Japanese currency. Invalid bids: Bids from disqualified participants or those who fail to fulfill required obligations will be invalid. Contract creation is required. The successful bidder will be the one who meets all qualification and specification requirements and submits the lowest price bid within the estimated price limits as per the National Cancer Center Contract Handling Rules Articles 36 and 37.
