1. Items to be procured
Procurement of an ultrasound diagnostic system: one complete set.
Configuration and specifications are as set out in the separately distributed specifications.

2. Qualifications required for participation in competitive tendering
A party registered in Grade A, B, C or D for Sale of Goods under the All-Government Unified Qualification for competitive participation in fiscal years 2025, 2026 and 2027. Participation is not permitted during a period of suspension of registration qualification. Details are set out in the separately distributed tender instructions.

3. Outline of competitive tendering
1) Tender method
Submit the bid and the documents required by the tender instructions by the deadline and at the place stated in Section 5. State in Japanese yen, as the principal bid amount, the estimated amount excluding tax for the procurement in Section 1.
2) Selection of the party entitled to negotiate and determination of the contract price
Bids will be opened at the place and time stated in Section 6. Parties submitting valid bids within the estimated-price range will be entitled to negotiate the contract. If there are multiple such parties, their negotiation order will follow their bid amounts. If multiple bids have the same amount, negotiation order will be determined by drawing lots. The contract price will be determined through negotiation.

7. Period for accepting complaints concerning the contract
Complaints regarding this contract must be submitted within two weeks of the occurrence of the act giving rise to the complaint. Complaints from parties without a direct interest will not be accepted, even during this period.
